The "Power Air" frame uses an aerodynamic edge profile to reduce drag during the swing. In practice this means slightly faster swing speed for the same effort, which manifests as more head-end velocity at contact. Selkirk's marketing leans heavily on this; independent reviewers concur the effect is real but small.
